The Introduction to Millinery Short Course at The Stables in Chelmsford consists of three two-hour sessions focused on millinery techniques. Participants will create a unique felt button hat and receive all necessary materials, refreshments, and parking. The course costs £200 per person.
Join Vanessa in her studio over three two hour studio sessions on your selected month, where you will join a small group (max 4) for a comprehensive introduction to millinery. Session 1 – Millinery materials, tools and blocking techniques Session 2 – Removing from the block, structure and head fixings Session 3 – Decorations and embellishments At the end of the course you will have created your own unique felt button hat. All materials are included, as well as a hat box, refreshments and complimentary parking Cost is £200 per person. Course dates for 2027: January (Saturdays) 16, 23 and 30 10am – 12pm September (Fridays) 10, 17 & 24 10am – 12pm Vanessa also offers 1-2-1 millinery experiences and gift vouchers are also available.
