Community Investment Fund (CIF) Application Support Session

Are you planning to apply to the Cheshire West and Chester Community Investment Fund (CIF)?

Join us for this practical application support session designed to help organisations understand the application process. Based on the Fund priorities and application requirements, this session will provide guidance and opportunities to ask questions directly to the Community Investment Fund Project Team.

The Community Investment Fund supports community-led activity that helps residents earlier, strengthens communities, and prevents, reduces, or delays demand for statutory and high-cost services. The Fund focuses on three priority areas:

• Strong Start (Children and Families)

• Healthy and Independent Living (Adults)

• Financial and Community Resilience

This session is aimed at voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations, community groups, and potential applicants who are considering submitting an application.

During the session, you will:

• Gain a better understanding of the application process and requirements

• Learn how applications will be assessed against the published priorities and outcomes

• Receive guidance on completing the application form

• Understand common questions and key considerations before submission

• Have the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification from the project team

Whether you are applying as an individual organisation or as part of a partnership or consortium, this session will help you feel more confident and prepared before submitting your application.

Attendance is free, but places are limited and advance booking is recommended.

We look forward to supporting local organisations to develop high-quality applications that help improve outcomes for residents across Cheshire West and Chester.
