Cheshire West and Chester invites VCFSE organisations to a prelaunch 'in person' event regarding the Community Investment Fund

Join us for an informal engagement session to learn more about Cheshire West and Chester Council's new Community Investment Fund (CIF), a significant investment in community-led activity that helps residents earlier, strengthens local communities, and prevents, reduces, or delays demand for statutory and high-cost services.

This event is aimed at voluntary, community, faith, and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations who would like to find out more about the Fund before applications open.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the purpose and priorities of the Community Investment Fund

• Understand who can apply and the types of projects the Fund aims to support

• Hear about the application process and timescales

• Ask questions and meet members of the Community Investment Fund project team

• Network with other organisations interested in developing community-based initiatives

The first application window is expected to open on 7 October 2026, subject to final readiness, making this an ideal opportunity to prepare ahead of the launch

Places are free, but booking is essential.
