Join us for a playful photo collage workshop inspired by the Un-Shuttered: LGBTQ+ Histories Hidden in Plain Sightexhibition.

We’ll cut, layer and combine images from photographs and magazines to create strange, surreal and completely new landscapes.

Cut up the familiar, mix things together and reimagine the world around you.

You might create impossible places, dreamlike landscapes or completely new versions of Chester — there are no rules, just plenty of room to experiment.

No previous experience needed and all materials are provided.

Pay what you want. These sessions are for everyone, you are welcome to attend for free or make a donation if you are able.

Accessibility

The workshop takes place in the Un-Shuttered exhibition space at 30 St Werburgh Street. The space has ramp access, electronic doors and is open plan and all on one level.

There are no toilets within the exhibition space. The nearest available toilets are located at the main entrance to Chester Cathedral.
