A writers workshop for local creatives

Are you looking to develop a show for an upcoming fringe festival?

Have you written a show but aren't sure what the next steps are?

Has an idea for a story been rolling around in your head, but you don't know how to get it onto the page?

Join us for an informal get-together with local writers as we share our works, get feedback, and create a community.

The focus of this group is writing for the stage, but writers of any medium can join. Bring a piece you'd like to hear read aloud or simply come for the commradery.

Tea and biscuits will be provided.

This workshop is led by playwright, poet, and author Deanna Strasse. Ms. Strasse has seen her work produced all over the world and holds a Master's in Scriptwriting from the University of Essex. Her most notable works include The Cafe Mocha Murders, Exit Stage Riley, and Summers in Prague. She is currently touring with her one-woman show Dead Doves and Lemons OR Everything You've Ever Wanted To Know About Fan Fiction (but were too afraid to ask) as well as playing Claudius, Polonius, Horatio, et. al in A Two Woman Hamlet.
