About This Event

The English Market in Cork City will host its Small Plate Taste Trail on Saturday 15 August 2026, presenting a guided exploration of the historic food hall’s stalls and producers. Commencing at midday, participants will sample an array of small plates from a variety of vendors, featuring artisan cheeses, cured meats, fresh seafood, and baked goods. This curated trail is designed to underscore the market’s enduring reputation as a celebrated destination for local and seasonal ingredients, with each stop offering insight into the craft and tradition behind the produce. The trail takes participants on a guided journey around several of the market's traders, stopping to savour a selection of small plates at each location. Everything served on the plates is sourced from within the market itself.

The route includes visits to On The Hoof, Macki Sushi, O'Flynn's Sausages, Uncles and Kay's Kitchen, with each stop providing a different tasting experience.
