Various performers will take part in Reading Screams as a reading-themed event at Bedworth Library and Information Centre. The activity is free and forms part of the October Half Term programme. It takes place on 31 October 2026.

Reading Screams at Bedworth Library

Our Reading Screams event provides a free, fun, creative, and accessible session during the school holidays. At this event hear a story and then have fun making your own sparkly potion-bottle artwork.

This event is great for:

- Helping children unleash their creativity through Halloween‑themed, story‑based activities

- Encouraging a love of reading by connecting eerie tales with fun, hands‑on creative experiences

- Supporting reading, learning, and curiosity during the October Half Term

- Discovering what our libraries offer

This event is part of our October Half Term programme taking place across all Warwickshire Libraries. This holiday’s theme is Reading Screams, where we invite families to leap into a world of spooky imagination.

Time: 10:30am – 11:30am

Date: Saturday 31st October 2026

Age: 4-11 year olds (Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times)

Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
