Sensory Stories at Bedworth Library

Sensory Stories are inclusive sessions designed for people with sensory needs. These sessions use multi-sensory storytelling techniques to engage participants through voice, emotion, and tactile experiences — rather than relying on words and pictures. Using Bag Books (https://www.bagbooks.org/) and other sensory resources, stories are brought to life in a way that is accessible, immersive, and enjoyable for everyone.

These sessions are great for:

Experiencing stories through sound, touch, and emotion

Supporting engagement and communication for people with learning disabilities

Enjoying a relaxed and inclusive environment

Discovering what our libraries offer.

Why not take a book home after the event? You'll enjoy a great read, and it's a simple way to support your library. Every loan counts.

Time: 2:00pm – 2:30pm (Tuesdays) and 11.00am-11.30am (Saturdays)

Date: Every first Tuesday of the month and every first Saturday of the month

Age: All ages (Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.)

Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
