Learn more about the amazing wildlife of Sherbourne Valley in a relaxed and social setting

Join one of the Sherbourne Valley Project team members to learn more about, and record information on the wildlife of different sites alongside the River Sherbourne in a friendly group setting. We will use different techniques to monitor local wildlife in a supportive learning environment. No prior experience or knowledge is required to attend, just an interest in nature. The meeting point is at 9:30am at the entrance to Lake View Park on Lake View Road, opposite the junction with Malvern Road.

What to bring:

- Warm, waterproof clothing

- Wellies or sensible walking shoes, as we’ll be on muddy paths

- Binoculars if you’d like a better look at the birds (we’ll have a limited number of spare pairs available to borrow)

- Snacks and a warm drink to keep you going
