About This Event

Summer Reading Challenge Crafts will be held at Rugby Library and Information Centre in Coventry on 18 August 2026 at 13:30. The event is free to attend as part of the Summer Reading Challenge.

Join us for this free event to celebrate as part of our Summer Reading Challenge activities.

Summer Reading Challenge Crafts at Rugby Library:

Summer Reading Challenge crafts is a creative drop‑in session with 'Read to the Beat' themed activities and craft materials for children and families.

These sessions are great for:

Boosting wellbeing through calm, hands‑on creative activities

Building confidence through making and creating

Encouraging imagination and creative play

Celebrating the Summer Reading Challenge

Discovering what our libraries offer

Time: 2:30pm – 3:30pm

Date: Tuesday 21st July, Tuesday 28th July, Thursday 6th August, Tuesday 11th August, Tuesday 18th August and Tuesday 25th August.

Age: 5-12 years old (Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times)

Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
