Summer Reading Challenge Medal Celebration at Nuneaton Library

Join Spartapuss author Robin Price for a unique musical extravaganza in which he attempts to perform (some of) the Twelve Labours of Hercules through the power of beatboxing, live looping and his own rap poetry.

Audience participation will be essential as our hero Hercules takes on magical beasts including the Nemean Lion, the Hydra, the Erymanthian Boar and the deadly Stymphalian Birds.

The medals will be presented after the performance.

Please book tickets only for children who have completed the challenge - book each ticket in their name, not the name of the adult booking. Thanks!

Robin is best known for his Spartapuss adventures, set in an ancient Rome ruled by cats. He also co-wrote the songs for the stage musicals The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom. Find out more at https://www.spartapuss.co.uk/music/

Time: Two sessions (both performances the same) - 10am-11am & 11.15am-12.15pm

Age: Primary school-aged children, and their families

Booking: Booking essential (book one place per child attending to receive their medal)
