Summer Reading Challenge Medal Celebration at Rugby Library

Join us for a fun-filled event to celebrate a fantastic Summer Reading Challenge with us, featuring special guests and marvellous author Chris White. Enjoy an exciting author session and share your reading achievements with other participants. The event will conclude with the presentation of your Summer Reading Challenge medal and certificate in recognition of all your hard work.

This event is great for:

Learning about authors and creative writing

Enjoying a fun community celebration

Exploring new books and library activities

Taking pride in personal achievements and progress through reading

Discovering what our libraries offer

Why not take a book home after the event? You'll enjoy a great read, and it's a simple way to support your library. Every loan counts.

Time: 10:30am - 12:00pm

Date: Saturday 5th September 2026

Age: 4 - 11 years old

Booking: Booking essential (please book one place per child attending). Seating will be provided at the rear for grown-ups, maximum one per child.

Can't make it to an event? Please let us know! We understand that sometimes plans change and you may no longer be able to attend an event you've booked. If that happens, we kindly ask that you cancel your booking in advance.

Doing so helps others take your place and ensures that the time, effort, and funding that go into our events are used effectively. Our events are supported by Warwickshire County Council and Arts Council England, and every space matters. When you don’t attend without cancelling, others miss out — and valuable resources go to waste.
