Warwickshire County Council is pleased to invite you to the launch of the Warwickshire Industry Exchange Service - Construction

The programme has been developed in response to feedback from employers across Warwickshire who have highlighted a growing gap between the modern methods, technologies and practices being used in industry today and those being taught to learners entering the workforce.

The Construction Industry Exchange Programme provides an opportunity for construction employers to work directly with local colleges, sharing current industry knowledge, innovative techniques, emerging technologies and real-world experiences with students and teaching staff. By bringing up-to-date industry insight into the classroom, we can help ensure that learners develop the skills employers need now and in the future.

To recognise the value of your expertise and time, participating businesses will receive a financial contribution for each session delivered

Why get involved?

By taking part, your organisation will have the opportunity to:

Influence the future construction workforce

Help bridge identified skills gaps

Showcase modern industry practices and technologies

Build relationships with local colleges and training providers

Raise the profile of your business within Warwickshire's skills ecosystem

We are now looking for construction businesses across Warwickshire to take part in the programme and would like to invite you to our launch event, taking place at Eliot Park Innovation Centre, Barling Way, Nuneaton, CV10 7RH, on Thursday 15 October, from 1.00pm to 4.00pm. A networking lunch will be provided.

The event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the programme, hear how your business can get involved, and network with fellow construction employers, colleges and key stakeholders.
