This festival aims to showcase to te public the importance of architecture in creating vibrant stories on film. It will highlight to the public the part that architecture plays in shaping societies and cultures. The festival is a mix of documentaries - examining the life of Jane Jacobs and female architects which explore placemaking, communities and ethical, inclusive practice - and feature films where architecture is a key part of the world building. We will also be bringing the films to life with walks and talks throughout the weekend. This set of films is suitable for students and laymen, as well as experienced architects who want to enjoy the lighter, artistic side of designing and building.
