Our in-person get together with other SEND parents, carers and professionals who understand.

Calling all SEND parents in Derby and the surrounding areas - if you ever need a listening ear to share your struggles or just to know you're not the only one finding things tricky then come along to Cuppa&Chat, hosted at the Sunshine Hub at Chapman House, The Derby Conference Centre every other Friday.

Led by Sunshine Support's Support Co-ordinator Emma, these in-person meet-ups offer a safe, relaxed space for parents and carers supporting children and young people with SEND to come together, share experiences and feel supported by others who truly understand.

Whether you’re navigating a diagnosis, battling the EHCP process or just want to have a conversation with another adult - Cuppa&Chat really helps you to understand that you are not alone.

What to expect:

💬 Space to share, connect, laugh (or cry!) without judgement

🧍‍♀️ Open to parents and carers - new and returning faces always welcome

🍪 Hot drinks and refreshments provided

While children are welcome, please note that this space is primarily designed for adult conversation and peer support. If you choose to bring your child or young person, you will need to supervise them throughout the session.

Cuppa&Chat is held every other Friday from 10am - 12pm.

🎟️ Booking is essential as spaces are limited. These sessions are always free but we ask you to book a ticket just so we can monitor numbers.
