About This Event

On 23, 24 and 30 October 2026, various performers will present *Helios* within the historic Derby Cathedral, where a spectacular seven-metre model of the sun illuminates the sacred space. This theatrical production transforms the cathedral into an immersive environment for a dramatic exploration of celestial power and human wonder. Tickets are priced between £3.00 and £7.00 for these forthcoming evening viewings.

Taking place Friday 23, Saturday 24 and Friday 30 October

For a truly unforgettable experience, visit Helios after dark and see the artwork in a new light.

During the exhibition, Derby Cathedral will remain open late on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the warmth and glow of the sun long after sunset. These special evenings will also feature a licensed bar, relaxed seating areas, and live music, creating a unique and atmospheric setting to experience the installation.

Admission: Adults £6, Children £3, under 5’s free.
