About This Event

The workshop 'Ripen your brand / Part 4. Social stand-out' is set to take place at Luminary Vision in Derby on 10 November 2026. This session will focus on developing a distinct social media identity efficiently. Ticket prices range from £35.00 to £200.00.

A hands-on workshop to understand how to create a distinct, cohesive social media identity without spending hours creating

In this practical workshop experienced brand designer Cherry Anderson will share the principles professional designers use when designing for social media. The workshop is aimed at small businesses, sole-traders and comms creators who aren't professionally trained in design.

A designer for 25 years, Cherry Anderson has created for high street retailers, global organisations, universities and small businesses. She now specialises in supporting purpose-led and sustainable organisations. By sharing her knowledge and expertise she will take your businesses to the next level, bringing you credibility, authenticity and visilibity – making the world a better place through stunning design!

In this 2 hour session, we will explore how to develop a strong, distinctive, original brand identity. We'll explore the thought process that is needed to take the key visual elements within your logo, or other graphics that you already have, and expand them into a full set of brand shapes, graphics, illustrations, photography style, textures or patterns to build a full picture of your brand personailty that can be used pratically across all platforms.

And then we'll put it into practice – you’ll work live together whilst Cherry circulates to give one-to-one guidance.
