Live presentations will address early boats from the perspectives of archaeology, anthropology museum science, experiment, and public engagement, considering technical, economic, social, artistic, symbolic, and other aspects of the craft that enabled humankind's spread throughout the world. Local and regional tours and excursions of historic and cultural interest will be held on Nov. 5 & 9.
