About This Event

A five-week throwing course for beginners and improvers, Series 2 for adults, is scheduled at Flowerfield Arts Centre in Derry on 23 September 2026 at 18:00. The workshop carries a price of £165.00.

Cost £165 full, £150 concession per series including materials |

Tutor Fiona Shannon

Learn the fundamentals of pottery throwing, mastering techniques of centering, opening out and pulling up to create a variety of different pots, including mugs and bowls. You’ll learn finishing techniques and then decorate with a variety of slips and underglazes. All pieces will be glazed and fired ready to collect at a later date
