About the Event:

All welcome to join one of Ireland's best-loved children's picture book makers for a special Hallowe'en daytime event featuring his latest book, Nowhere for a Ghost to Sleep written by ERIKA MCGANN, published by The O'Brien Press (2026).

Enjoy a spooky storytime, then grab a pencil and join Clive for a fun, ghostly draw-along - there may be a few little tricks and treats too!

About the Book:

Little Ghost is very sleepy. She looks everywhere for a bed to sleep: in a house, in a barn, on a boat – even on the moon. But everyone everywhere is too afraid of ghosts to let her in! Until the little ghost finds a very special place...

The book will be available to buy and have signed at the event.

Review:

"Told through rhyming text, this is a kooky tale filled to the brim with humour and with a delightful ghost main character that readers will be rooting for from the outset. This is the third collaboration by McGann and McFarland, and there is a quirky timelessness to the stories they tell together. Little Ghost should have no trouble finding a resting place on any shelf!" — Children's Books Ireland's Best Irish Books of 2026
