Folkestone Film Festival presents a special screening of 'Misper' ('Missing Person'), a darkly comic mystery filmed on location around Folkestone itself.

Set around a crumbling seaside hotel (Folkestone's old Grand), the film follows Leonard as he begins to unravel after his colleague Elle mysteriously disappears. Misper stars Samuel Blenkin and Emily Carey and features recognisable Folkestone locations throughout.

After the screening, director Harry Sherriff and writer Laurence Tratalos will join the audience for a live Q&A, hosted by Folkestone Film Festival Director Ben Barton.

They’ll also be joined by actor Dan Ryan, who plays hotel manager Gary Jenkins in the film. Dan is known for The Bay, Dear England, The Hack and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

A rare chance to see a feature film shot in Folkestone on the big screen in Folkestone itself - and then meet some of the people who made it. Part of a new autumn season of Kent-based films from the Folkestone Film Festival.
