About This Event

Presentation and guided heritage walk focuses on un-realised infrastructural development projects in the Docklands area of Dublin This presentation and guided heritage walk focuses on un-realised infrastructural development projects in the Docklands area of Dublin, spanning the time period from the 17th century to the present day. The event forms part of Heritage Week and is being organised in conjunction with The Five Lamps Arts Festival. The 30-minute presentation consists of text, maps and images depicting some of these un-realised projects. This will be followed by a guided heritage walk in the Docklands to selected sites discussed in the presentation. Brendan Mc Evoy, a local conservation architect, shall be the presenter and tour guide. Meeting Point: Inside the 'Substation', Dublin Port Centre, at the junction of East Wall Road and Alexandra Road, DO I H4C6.
