Experience Dublin's mountains after dark on a guided headtorch hike to Fairy Castle and Tibradden beneath the stars.
As daylight fades, join Land & Legend Trails for a memorable guided night hike through the Dublin Mountains to Fairy Castle and Tibradden, where ancient landscapes, sweeping views and fascinating stories await after dark.
We'll begin our walk as the evening light softens, following forest and mountain trails towards Fairy Castle, the highest point in the Dublin Mountains. From there, we'll continue to Tibradden, a place steeped in history and folklore, where an ancient cairn crowns the summit. Along the way, we'll pause to watch the sun set over Dublin Bay, the Wicklow Mountains and the city below before continuing by headtorch as darkness settles across the landscape.
As the stars emerge, we'll take time to appreciate the quiet of the mountains, explore the area's natural environment, and uncover stories of archaeology, local history, mythology and the landscapes that have shaped Dublin for thousands of years.
This is not a race or a survival challenge—it's an opportunity to experience the Dublin Mountains in a way that few people ever do.
