Learn to find, photograph, identify, and record the fungi around us.

Join us for a relaxed introduction to the fascinating world of fungi. We'll explore the park together, learning how to spot, observe, photograph and begin identifying the mushrooms and other fungi we encounter.

We'll use iNaturalist to investigate our finds and build a shared collection of observations along the way.

Everyone will also receive a small zine to help you get started and continue your fungi journey beyond the event.

This is a laid-back and social introduction for curious beginners; previous knowledge or experience with fungi is not required.

No picking, no collecting, no foraging. This is an exploration & identification event. We will be leaving the park as we found it.
