This full day course takes place from 9.00am - 16.00pm in The Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan Road, Stillorgan, Co Dublin on the 26th September 2026.
On completion of this course, participants will be certified in emergency response training and be able to provide necessary first aid while awaiting the arrival of the emergency services. First Aid is an essential skill to have particularly when you are dealing with physical or sporting activities. The course will cover the following areas in Sports First Aid:
Accident scene management
Patient assessment
Respiratory emergencies
Wounds and bleeding
Head injuries and unconsciousness
Fractures and injury to bones
Burns, scalds and electric shock

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided for the mid morning break but participants will be expected to bring their own packed lunch or can avail of the hotels onsite dining facilities/ local eateries available around Dun Laoghaire.
