Join us in The Vaults for a very special Blind Tasting led by Ken Kinsella. The Blind Tasting with wines from Portugal is a journey through some of Portugals most celebrated wine regions and grape varieties. On arrival, guests will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine before moving on to two white wines and three red wines, each served completely blind. Without labels, bottles or clues, the focus is placed entirely on what is in the glass – the aromas, flavours, structure and overall character of each wine.

Each participant will receive a tasting sheet featuring a selection of possible wines. As the evening progresses, your challenge will be to identify which wine is which by using your senses and wine knowledge. Consider the grape varieties, regional styles, acidity, tannin levels, fruit profile and any winemaking influences that may help reveal a wine’s identity. Whether you are an experienced taster or simply enjoy wine, this is a fun and engaging way to explore the diversity of Portuguese wines while testing your palate against fellow participants.
