About the workshop
Healthy relationships are not built on love alone. They are shaped by the ways we communicate, respond to conflict, create emotional safety, and understand ourselves and one another.
This three-hour workshop offers a calm and supportive space to explore what helps relationships thrive. It combines short presentations, guided reflection, practical exercises, and evidence-based tools drawn from the Gottman Method.
The workshop also draws on more than 15 years of therapeutic work with individuals and couples.

Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is designed for adults who would like to better understand themselves and their relationships.
You are welcome whether you:
• attend on your own or with a partner
• are in a relationship or currently single
• identify as heterosexual or LGBTQ+
How we work
The workshop combines short presentations, psychological insight, practical exercises and guided reflection.
Sharing personal experiences is always optional. There is no expectation to talk about your private life or relationship. Our aim is to create a respectful, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable learning at their own pace.
Meet the facilitators
Marta Wilczewska MSc, BA is a Psychologist, Sexologist and Couples Therapist using Gottman method. She has worked with individuals and couples since 2010. Her work combines psychodynamic psychotherapy with evidence-based approaches, including the Gottman Method, helping clients better understand themselves, their relationships and the patterns that shape them.
Elyan Ahmad MSc is a Clinical Psychologist with experience supporting individuals and couples. His work is grounded in contemporary psychological research and a warm, collaborative approach to helping people better understand themselves and their relationships.

dlr LexIcon is located in the heart of the beautiful seaside town of Dún Laoghaire, just 12km south of Dublin city.

Parking
Parking is available at dlr LexIcon. The car park has 100 spaces with the entrance located off Queen’s Road.
There is 24-hour security and CCTV in operation for your safety and security
Opening hours are from 7am to 11pm, 7 days per week
The rate is €2.40 per hour with a capped rate of €6.00 per day.
