Join us for a day-long symposium on youth and intercultural identity in Ireland! As part of Research Ireland funded project, "Renegotiating Identity," awarded to Dublin City University's researchers, this day long event will reflect on ways in which young individuals are navigating ideas of identity, belonging and citizenship in multicultural Ireland. DCU's Ireland India Institute has partnered with the National Library of Ireland to welcome improtant voices that form multicultural Ireland. The event features a round table discussion on Youth identity and interculturalism in Ireland followed by a lecture and discussion on interculturalism by Professor Cóilín Parsons, Georgetown University. He will be in conversation with Professor Michael Hinds, Dublin City University. The day will also present a conversation between the famous YA Irish author of Bangladeshi Heritage, Adiba Jaigirdar, who will be in conversation with Professor Oona Frawley.
