Two of our favourite acts make a long overdue return to Dundee.

Headlining the night will be Liam Farrelly, the incredible 26-year-old comedian from Paisley who despite his age already has an impressive list of accolades under his belt, including in 2021 being crowned both Scottish Comedian of the Year AND Frog and Bucket’s World Series Comedy Champion. He’s had TV roles including on BBC Scotland’s Scot Squad and being featured on BBC’s Live at the Apollo. He’s also the support act of choice for big names including Susie McCabe, Larry Dean and Tom Stade.

Sam Lake is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian. A regular at some of the biggest clubs up and down the country, he has three critically-acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe shows under his belt already, with his 2023 show being crowned Best Reviewed Edinburgh Fringe Shows of 2023 by the British Comedy Guide. Other accolades include winning Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year and Hastings Fringe Newcomer of the Year. Being in high demand for TV work, you may have seen him on BBC Scotland’s Breaking the News, Dave’s The Comedy Guide to Life and All4’s The Joy of Missing Out. A consummate comedy writer, he has written jokes for Mock the Week and NewsJack.

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**

· Tickets can be refunded or exchanged no less than 24 hours before the show.

· Line-ups can be subject to change at short notice.

· The show is in three 30 minute parts separated by two intervals. Doors open at 7pm, one hour before the start time of 8pm. Please arrive before the show starts but not before 7pm. Attendees who arrive late will not be granted admission or a refund.

· Don’t talk or heckle during the performances. This rule is NOT optional. It is very distracting for both the performer and other audience members. Some performers (usually the host) might talk to the audience, but otherwise please let the comedians do the talking. Heckling does not ‘help the show’. Think of it like cinema rules: laughter, cheers, applause are all great, but talking or yelling out is not. And another cinema rule…

· Please put your phone on silent. Photos are fine but please no video or flash photography.

· This is NOT a standing event. All audience members must be seated while the performance is underway, unless ordering at the bar or using the toilets. When ordering at the bar, please whisper.

· Entrance and exit is via the side door only; please wait outside at the door for ticket check and to be seated by the doorman.

· Tables are limited and you may have to share one. If you choose to sit on a row, please move all the way down to the end and don’t leave empty seats between groups. You may not be able to sit together if the remaining chairs available are spread out. If you are particular about seating we recommend arriving as early as possible.

· Seats in the front half of the room must be filled before seating in the back half is allocated.

· Seating in the alcove at the back is reserved for the comedians and their guests only.

· These shows are for people aged 18 and over. You may be asked to show ID if you do not look of age.

· Comedy Dundee does not necessarily agree or disagree with the opinions and viewpoints expressed by the comedians. Acts are booked based on their ability to make people laugh, beyond that we respect freedom of expression. If you disagree or are offended by what you hear, you are free to express this by not laughing, by leaving, or by respectfully raising your objections with the act after the show or via social media. You may not interrupt an on-going performance.

· Audience members who don’t respect these rules will be asked to leave.
