Join us to discover the extraordinary diversity in the fungi found right under your nose!

We'll be searching for, identifying and recording as many different types of fungi as possible; not just cap fungi but cup fungi, brackets and crusts. The difference with foraging is that we will not be specifically looking for edible fungi.

Car parking at Caddam Woods, Golf Road, Kirriemuir is limited so car sharing is encouraged. We will either meet at the Reform Street carpark in Kirriemuir (What3words///gallons.cushy.gilding) at 11.45am in order to car share to the venue or at the very small car park on Golf Road, Kirriemuir (What3words//february.direction.walnuts, OS grid reference NO386559) at 12pm. Please email activities@swtdundeeangus.org.uk if you intend to park at Reform Street so we know how many need a lift up to the woods. Please note that the map generated by eventbrite is based on a large area postcode, please use the grid reference or what3words for an accurate meeting location.

Adults only. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.

Please provide the details of a person we may contact on your behalf in an emergency, so that we can respond appropriately. We will require a name and mobile number for each person attending at the time of booking.

Bookable face-to-face events may be subject to change at short notice, which will be communicated to attendees via email by the organiser. Please check your email in advance of attending events and keep an eye on the Scottish Wildlife Trust Angus and Dundee Local Group website and/or the Angus and Dundee Facebook page for updates. Note that booking generally ends two hours prior to the event start time. If you wish to book to attend after registration has ended, and there are places still available, please contact the organiser direct using the details above.
