Tutor- Kate Pickering at Carve your own silver ring in this hands-on session, working with jewellers’ wax and professional carving tools to create your own unique design. How does it work? Following your tutor’s guidance, you will learn to carve a wax ring template to your own design and size. Once your wax model is complete, it will be sent away to be cast into silver using the ancient art of lost wax casting. Your ring will then be hand-finished by the Tutor to your chosen specifications. Your finished silver ring will be ready within three weeks of the workshop. This workshop is perfect for beginners or those looking to try something new. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of the lost wax jewellery making process and techniques and with a stunning creation to treasure forever.
