The If U Care Share Foundation, supported by Durham County Council, will host a two-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) course at the Nettlesworth Community Centre in Durham on 23 September 2026. This CPD-accredited course is open to anyone aged 16+ who lives, works, or volunteers in County Durham with those at risk of suicide.
ASIST equips participants with the skills to recognise, and act on, the signs that someone is having thoughts of suicide, and support them to stay safe from suicide.
Dates: 23 - 24 September 2026
Location: Nettlesworth Community Centre, Durham DH2 3PN
Should you cancel after the 16th September or not show up on the day, a late cancellation/non attendance fee of £175 will apply.
Refreshments: Tea and Coffee as well as water provided, attendees must bring their own lunches both days.
Places are normally £200pp, so make the most of these funded places and share the link below with your contacts.
If you are registering in an employed capacity please confirm with your manager that you are able to be released from your work for two full days to attend.
Attendance at both days is required for completion.
