The session offers valuable networking opportunities across the housing sector without involving stall fees or public admission. Various speakers will present insights relevant to the strategic development of home improvements.
Co-designing the local strategy for warmer, healthier, affordable homes in the North East. For residents, landlords and the supply chain.
We’re working on behalf of the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority to develop a local strategy to help existing homes in our region become warmer, healthier and more affordable to run.
Please join us for the last in a series of three workshops to co-design this strategy for residents, landlords and all those involved in delivering retrofit across the North East. Please confirm your attendance by accepting this invitation. Numbers are limited.
This session will:
Explore examples of retrofit best practice and what can be learned from them
Determine, prioritise and endorse actions, roles and responsibilities for delivering domestic retrofit across the North East
Discuss governance, goals, and how we can work together to make our homes better for everyone in the North East
We are bringing together a wide range of voices from across the North East to shape this Strategy. Whether you're a resident, a landlord, or anyone involved in the supply chain - if you are concerned about improving our Homes in the North East, you are welcome.
In the supply chain, you may come from a local authority or community organisation, supporting residents to understand and reduce energy use. Perhaps you provide training on retrofit skills. Or you might be a builder, plumber, electrician, installer, designer, heating engineer, architect, manufacturer, or other supplier working on low carbon home improvements or renovations more generally. Your insights are invaluable.
In the meantime, if you have any questions about the day, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with anneliese.allen-norris@urbanforesight.com.
We look forward to welcoming you on 14 October.
