About This Event

The Bluespaces Project workshop will take place at Low Barns in Durham on 3 October 2026. Attendees will learn about methods used to improve wildlife habitats. This event is free to attend.

Join us to learn how we're improving habitats for wildlife through the Bluespaces Project.

Join Project Manager Sian Whitehead at Low Barns Nature Reserve, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest, for an introduction to the Bluespaces Project and the improvements it is delivering for wildlife and people.

This event will explore the Trust’s partnership work with Northumbrian Water to improve habitats and access across reserves and connected landscapes.

Supporters will hear an illustrated talk in the Low Barns Visitor Centre before having the option to join a walk around the reserve to see, first-hand, examples of the project’s impact.
