Join us for a fun and inspiring Children's Discovery Session and find out more about the life-saving work of your local air ambulance.

Designed for children aged 4–11 years and their families, this interactive event includes a short talk about how the Great North Air Ambulance Service helps save lives across the region, a hands-on children's activity, and the opportunity to meet our much-loved mascot, Miles the Bear.

You'll also have the chance to ask questions during a live Q&A session, get up close to our life-saving helicopter, and take photos with both the aircraft and Miles.

Whether you're curious about what we do, looking for a unique family experience, or simply want to support a local charity, we'd love to welcome you.

Please note: all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the event.
