Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'?

Your friendly local Durham choir is run by vocal coach Rob Slater. We support a number of local good causes, raising money and awareness around County Durham and as a choir we also sing together with other Rock Choir singers in the nearby choirs to support national charities such as Missing People and both Comic and Sport Relief with flash mobs, fundraising events and performances.

Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Rob tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with him about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 18 years experience giving members of the public who are new to community singing the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music.
