Framwellgate School Durham, Newton Drive, Durham, DH1 5BQ

Thinking about life after GCSEs? Come to Framwellgate Sixth Form’s Open Evening and find out what studying here could be like for you.

Talk to our staff and students about the courses you’re interested in and get a feel for what everyday life is like as part of our close-knit Fram Sixth Form community. You’re welcome whether you already attend our school or would be joining us from somewhere else.

Our small classes give you time to work closely with your teachers and build great relationships with your fellow classmates. Regular tutor meetings and pastoral support mean there’s someone to turn to when you need help.

During the evening, find out about:

A levels and applied qualifications, with options to combine them.

Our Broadening Horizons Award, which helps you explore your subjects further.

Year 12 work experience and careers guidance for your plans after sixth form.

Sixth form clubs, plus community events you can help organise through our Sixth Form Council.

There’s time to enjoy being part of our community too, including Enrichment Week at the end of Year 12. Come and get to know us.
