Join us on Sunday 4th October for a 3.2 mile circular walk through the beautiful Durham Countryside.
Whether you're coming along on your own, bringing a friend, or looking to meet some like-minded people, this walk is all about getting outside, having a chat, meeting new people and enjoying the great outdoors together.

The route is a mix of paths, forest and varied terrain. There is a little elevation at max 233ft, perfect for beginners starting their fitness journey and wanting to push themselves a little.
We'll be taking things at a comfortable pace, with plenty of time for socialising and a couple of water breaks along the way.
Bringing Your Dog
Dogs are very welcome on this walk! There are lots of opportunities for them to enjoy some off-lead time, although please make sure your dog is comfortable and well behaved around other dogs and walkers.
What You'll Need
Please make sure you come prepared for a walk in varied terrain.
Walking shoes, trail trainers or walking boots are required.
We also recommend bringing:
Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather
A water bottle
Any snacks you may need
A waterproof jacket, just in case
Meeting Point & Parking
We'll meet at The Pump House Tea Room, Durham, before setting off on the trail.
If you don't wish to visit the cafe after the walk, public parking costs approximately £4.50, paid via a QR code, NOT a machine.
Alternatively, if you'd like to grab a drink or something to eat at The Pump House Tea Room after the walk, we can register our vehicles with the cafe, and we'll head back there together for a well-earned drink and some post-walk socialising.
Please note that the cafe has a £5 minimum spend on card. Coffee is roughly £4, so please bear this in mind and bring cash if needed.

You don't need to know anyone before you come. You don't need to be an experienced hiker. And you certainly don't need to be the fastest walker!
