Main Act: 'Mills & Farrell'
On Saturday 12th September, to celebrate the start of the Heritage Open Days festival, we will be welcoming the incredible local talent of Mills & Farrell to the ruins of Beaurepaire Medieval Manor House, for our last MUSIC IN THE RUINS session of the year!
Mills & Farrell bring rootsy folk music to the local music scene, with brilliant harmonies and sweet melodies, and it's been so encouraging to see them go from strength to strength, performing at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Kirbymoorside Music Festival to mention just a few. We were privileged at Dream that the talented duo wanted to shoot their latest music video, Mayfly, at the photographic ruins of Beaurepaire, and perhaps we are biased but we think it's brilliant!
To find out more about the duo, why not visit their website: https://millsandfarrell.com/home
And to book a ticket for the Music In the Ruins event, click the button below. Tickets are free but suggested donations on the day are ~£8pp. The event is a fundraiser, so the more you give, the more incredible work we can do to restore the ruins in people, places and communities!
WHY NOT MAKE A DAY OF IT? If you'd like to make a day of it, why not take part in the give-it-a-go gardening session from 10-2pm at the ruins of Beaurepaire, with all ages & abilities welcome, though under 18 years old must be supervised a responsible adult. If you're not sure you're up to gardening, feel free to pop in between 10am and 2pm for a free tour of the ruins, to find out about Beaurepaire Medieval Manor House, and the exciting but deadly history of the site against the unsettled backdrop of the medieval period! Donations welcome, and do sign up at https://dreamheritage.co.uk/whats-on
