**Circular Walk Seaford – High and Over, Friston Forest & Seaford Head** Join us for a scenic circular walk starting and finishing at **Seaford Library**, taking in some beautiful countryside, woodland trails and coastal views. Heading up from Seaford to The Comp and to **High and Over**, where we’ll take a short break. Great views on a clear day. From there, we’ll descend to the Cuckmere River and follow the Vanguard Way through Friston Forest. At c.**6 miles**, we’ll stop for a picnic lunch at the top of Westdean with views of the Cuckmere. There are toilets/ café at Exceat, at the bottom of the hill. After lunch, we’ll walk the remaining **4.5 miles back to Seaford**, following the clifftops via Seaford Head. Optional drink at the Steamworks bar at Seaford station after. 🥾 **Walk details** * Total distance: approximately 10.5 miles * Terrain: Hilly in places, with some climbs and steep descents * Lunch: Please bring your own picnic * 🐕 Well behaved dogs welcome but on leads if livestock * **Walking advice:** If the weather has been wet or the paths are muddy, I strongly recommend bringing a walking pole to help with the descents. Free parking is available in the surrounding streets, but please allow extra time to find a space. We don't ask you to pay to join us on your first three walks.
