Workshop Overview

Join artist Vanessa Gray for a special Halloween themed cartoon drawing workshop! Japan has a rich history of spooky stories and ethereal encounters. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to draw some unusual creepy objects and create your very own tsukumogami, or “artifact spirit”.

Age Range: 8 - 14

Cost: £15 per child (plus small booking fee)

All materials will be provided and all abilities welcome.

Please plan your journey to the venue and arrive for the workshop in good time, with your eventbrite ticket / booking information ready for a smooth check in. Magical Manga will start promptly at 2pm, and finish at 3:30pm.

Important information for your visit

Willingdon Memorial Hall, located on Church Street in Eastbourne, East Sussex, is situated in the picturesque and peaceful village of Willingdon. Visitors can enjoy lunch beforehand at the local cafe The Pantry or family friendly Red Lion pub.

Accessibility

The hall offers a wheelchair accessible parking space and entrance via the side of the building. As well as good accessible toilet facilities, the hall includes baby changing tables.

Travelling by Car / Parking

There are a limited number of parking spaces available on-site, but additional parking is available on Church Street and in the surrounding area. Please be considerate to other visitors and residents if choosing to park in the village itself. The space immediately outside the front doors should be left clear for emergency vehicles only.

Food & Drink

You are welcome to bring your own drinks and any small snacks to enjoy during the workshop.

Parents / Adults

You are welcome to stay and support your child and watch the fun, but you are also welcome to drop off. If you plan to leave your child / children in my care for the duration of the workshop, please complete the contact details form on arrival before leaving the hall.
