One small part of Edinburgh - a treasure trove of hidden history.

This art historical walking tour in the fashionable Stockbridge area of Edinburgh will take you through the streets and sights associated with some of Scotland's greatest artists, writers and thinkers. Among the richly detailed stories of hidden history, you will hear about the shepherd's son who designed an iconic masterpiece; the woman who created one of the greatest paintings and art scandals in Scotland's history; and what exactly an unassuming town house has to do with the search for the Holy Grail. The tour will last around an hour and fifteen minutes over mostly level ground with some stone steps and gentle slopes. The meeting point is underneath the archway at St Bernard's Bridge at the west end of Saunders Street, Stockbridge. Places are limited and must be pre-booked.
