About This Event

The Binks Hub Writing Retreat is a free event hosted at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, University of Edinburgh on 21 October 2026. It offers relaxed writing sessions with prompts and discussions on writing goals. The event is suitable for all skill levels and takes place in the morning.

Hosted at EFI, these will be relaxed sessions with writing prompts and a chance to share and discuss writing goals.

Come and join the Binks Hub for a writing retreat!

These will be relaxed sessions with writing prompts, a chance to share and discuss writing goals, and regular creative activities to break up the session.

All are welcome and we hope to have a mix of practitioners, community members, academics and students. You are welcome to work on any kind of writing project you have. There will be opportunities to share your work but no obligation to do so.

Tea and coffee will be provided. The event will take place in room 4.30 in Edinburgh Futures Institute.

Spaces are on a first come, first served basis. Given the limited capacity, we request that you notify us if you cannot make it - this will enable us to reallocate your space to another attendee.
