Ever wanted to learn the skills behind spectacular cinematic lightsaber sequences? CineSaber is a 10-week course where you’ll learn to handle, spin and move with a performance saber, developing the skills to create your own dynamic, choreographed sequences. Throughout the course, you’ll explore: • Saber handling and control - learn the fundamentals of wielding a lightsaber with confidence. • Spins and flow - develop coordination, fluidity and expressive movement. • Footwork and movement - learn how to move with purpose, precision and style. • Attacks and blocks - practise the techniques used to build convincing cinematic sequences. • Combinations and choreography - bring individual movements together into flowing sequences. • Partner work - develop timing, distance and coordination with others. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience, you’ll develop new skills in a welcoming, creative environment. Your 10-week course includes the use of a performance lightsaber during every session. Sabers are provided for use in class, but are not included to take home. You’re welcome to bring your own lightsaber, subject to advance approval for safety and suitability.
