Create Your Own Ceramic Christmas Tree Tealight Holder – Festive Pottery Workshop! Get into the festive spirit with a fun and creative pottery workshop at Fabode Ceramics in Edinburgh! Join me for a cosy, hands-on session where you'll create your very own ceramic Christmas tree using traditional coil-building techniques. Your tree will double as a beautiful tealight holder, with little holes allowing the candlelight to shine through, creating a lovely festive glow. You'll also get to make a collection of adorable miniature ceramic charms to decorate your tree. Think tiny snowmen, gingerbread-inspired decorations, little Christmas sweets and more! The best part? Some of your charms can even be turned into earrings, giving you a unique handmade accessory to wear over the festive season! What to expect: • Learn the basics of pottery and coil-building techniques. • Create your own unique ceramic Christmas tree tealight holder. • Make miniature ceramic charms to hang on your tree. • Enjoy a relaxed, friendly and creative atmosphere. • No previous pottery experience needed! How does it work? This workshop takes place over two separate sessions. Session 1 – Handbuilding (£55): You'll shape and build your Christmas tree and create your decorative charms. Your creations will then be left at the studio to dry before their first kiln firing. Session 2 – Glazing & Decorating (£20): Around 2–3 weeks later, you'll return to paint and glaze your tree and charms, adding your own colours and finishing touches. Your pieces will then be glaze fired, ready for collection once completed. Please note that the decorating session must be booked separately.
