About This Event

Come for a chat and a cuppa with other families at Dr Bells! Meet other expectant parents and those with babies (up to 9 months) This group is only open to families living within EH6/EH7 with at least one child under 10 months. Everyone is welcome including single parents and partners. Build support networks, make friends, and explore topics to suit your needs. The structure of our group is very informal, and the focus is for families to meet and socialise, you can still pop along to any session without needing to participate in the topic. Upcoming dates include: 20/10/2026 - Create your own baby name clip. Whether it’s for a dummy, a blanket or just a keepsake – take home a personalised name clip for your little one. 27/10/2026 - Halloween session. A small Halloween themed display will be set up for you to take your own photos to capture your child’s first Halloween. 03/11/2026 - Creative writing with Amy. Create your own personalised bedtime story to share with your little one. 10/11/2026 - Make your own sensory bottle. Create your own sensory bottle for your little one to enjoy. 24/11/2026 - Women’s health with Roz. A relaxed and supportive session focusing on women’s health and wellbeing, covering topics such as contraception, periods, pelvic floor health and advocating for yourself when accessing healthcare. The session will also include some gentle movement and breathing exercises, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions. The content will be guided by the interests and needs of the group. 01/12/2026 - TBC 08/12/2026 - Make a Christmas keep sake. Donations are non-refundable.
