About This Event

Meet groups from across the city who are dedicated to caring for Edinburgh's heritage, at a free drop-in fair. Taking place in the city’s Central Library, the 2026 Edinburgh Local Heritage Network will welcome over 16 groups, sharing what they do and what they have to offer. In attendance will be Edinburgh Printmakers, Hearts Heritage, Old Edinburgh Club, Edinburgh, Lothians and Border Police Historical Society, Old Town Association, Cramond Association, Corstorphine Trust, Citadel Arts Group, Edinburgh Archaeological Field Society, Cramond Heritage Trust, Cockburn Association, Lothian Postcard Club, Edinburgh Festival Volunteer Guides, The Museum of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, Costume Society Scotland, Bridgend Farmhouse, and the Greater Liberton History Group. Running from 10am to 4pm, drop by for some interesting tales, items, and even some historic uniforms! The event will be held on the first floor of Central Library which is accessible via a lift.
