Leaving from the historic Cramond Brig (just below Miller and Carter on Queensferry Road), we walk down the river Almond looking for evidence of the Iron industry whose reach was worldwide with small farming implements and nails. The route takes us over the newly installed steps below Peggy’s mill, a climb (and descent) of 70 Steps.
