QEW's September walk - Doors Open Days Wander through some of the rooms inside Lauriston castle and then explore the gardens.

Hello everyone!

Allies, children and dogs are welcome! (Dogs might need to be on the lead at times.)

Stickers and pens are provided at the start of the walk for people to write their names and pronouns. Respect people's pronouns and introduce yourself with yours.

Our September walk will make the most of Doors Open Days 2026.

TRAVEL:

Bus: Regular services by Lothian Buses.

Car: You can park near surrounding areas or Lauriston car park.

BICYCLE - Use the Edinburgh CycleStreets Journey Planner for direct and scenic route options.

ROUTE:

Wander through some of the rooms inside the castle and then around the gardens to see the Kyoto Friendship Garden, Rose Garden and Forget Me Not Memory Garden.
