Ready to learn salsa? Join our 5-week Beginners Course!

Have you ever wanted to learn salsa but weren't sure where to start?

Maybe you've never danced before, haven't danced in years, or simply fancy learning something new and meeting people locally.

Our 5-week Salsa Beginners Course is a friendly, relaxed introduction to salsa, designed to help you learn step by step and build your confidence as you go.

And if you're wondering, “Am I too old to start dancing?” — absolutely not!

Whether you're in your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s or beyond, you're welcome. Many people start dancing later in life, and everyone starts somewhere. You don't need to be naturally “good at dancing” — we'll guide you through everything step by step.

💃 What will we do?

Across the 5 weeks, you'll be introduced to Salsa Crossbody On1, building your skills gradually from week to week.

We'll work on:

Simple salsa steps and timing

Body movement and coordination

Solo exercises to help you feel comfortable with the rhythm

Turns and basic salsa movements

Easy partnerwork exercises

Leading and following

Connecting the different elements together

Building confidence dancing with a partner

The aim isn't just to memorise steps — it's to understand what you're doing, get comfortable with the movement and gradually build your salsa skills.

No previous dance experience needed — and you don't need a partner! 👟

You can come on your own. We regularly rotate partners during the class, so there's no need to find someone to come with you.

Just bring comfortable shoes, yourself, and a little curiosity!

🌟 Why 5 weeks?

Learning salsa takes a little time — and that's exactly why we've made this a 5-week course.

Rather than learning something different every week, we'll build on what you've already learned, giving you the opportunity to repeat, practise and become more comfortable with the movements and partnerwork.

You don't need to be perfect. You just need to come along, practise and have fun. 💃

Come on your own or bring a friend — everyone is welcome!

We'd love to have you join us!
